If the player’s third card drawn is either 4 or 5, the dealer draws a new card when he has a hand value of 0-5. In this case, the dealer will stand if he is having a hand value of 6-7.
If the third card drawn by the player is either a 2 or 3, then the dealer can draw a third card when he has a hand value of 0-4. Here, in this case, the dealer will stand if his hand value is 5-7.
Once all cards are dealt by the player as well as the dealer, calculate the hand value of both the parties. The winning hand is the one with total value as 9 or closer to 9. If both parties have the same hand value, then it will be a tie and neither hand will win or lose.
Sometimes, the player has to pay a 5% commission to the dealer if the player wins a bet placed on the dealer’s hand.
